Wai Lin Tse
Born in England, daughter of a Spanish mother and a father from
Hong Kong, Wai Lin spent her childhood between Spain and the UK.
Since her early years she felt a strong penchant for the world of
fashion. Garments and images fascinated her. Eventually, Wai Lin
decided to pursue a career in fashion design.
After having spent many years in various companies, she assumed the
creative direction at Women’Secret. And yet, her passion for photography
would not let go of her. One day, Wai Lin went back to her old camera.
Photography has become the vehicle of her need to do something more
personal and direct, the way to remember, narrate and fully experience the
past and the present, and at the same time her link with the fascinating
world of fashion.
Wai Lin has shot campaigns for Urban Outfitters, Cecilia Sörensen,
Via Snella and Women’Secret among others and contributes in magazines
such as Apartamento. She is currently based in Barcelona.
